Hauz Khaz Village is the Arty area of New Delhi, One street with a few side streets full of every imaginal type of Cuisine, masses of Bars, masses of different art dealers, and a Range of Boutique  fashion brands.
The Hauz Khaz Village has only one Road leading in which only residents can enter with Motor Vehicles. Its is Surrounded by a lake, Parks, Forrest, a Deer Farm and a Monument. 
At the end of the main drag you have the Hauz Khaz  Monument which is a very popular tourist Monument. 
The Bar Scene comes alive on Friday and Saturday Nights however you should be willing to walk about 3 to 4kms because Cars will get nowhere near the Village on a Weekend, the bars are mainly small, nut you have small bands, shot bars, beer bars Hauz Khaz isn't a place to expect a good cocktail. 
You get some nice food in Hauz Khaz I will recommend Yeti a Himalayan Cuisine restaurant.
Don't expect to find a Michelin Star restaurant in a culture where the 5 star hotels have dominated India's food and Beverage Scene this is the first area in Delhi with a large congregation of Bars and Restaurants it is India and New Delhi Evolving into a more Modern City its just a fun place.
