Radisson Blu South Goa
The Journey from Goa Airport and the Drive takes you past some lovely Churches a lot of swamps and old Traditional Portuguese cottages. After about an hours drive you finally reach The radisson Blu Resort
The hotel has a Goan Portuguese fine dining restaurant which is only open at dinner and the food is excellent, also the main Restaurant serves Buffets meals for breakfast lunch and Dinner, with a very large selection of veg and non veg options. The food is very tasty some very nice Goan Curries.
Its probably not the fanciest Resort in Goa but it is very nice, The room aren't on the beach front or overlooking the river in fact to get to the beach you must walk across another resort the Dona Slyvia resort to Reach the Beach and the Dona Slyvia Resort is cheaper. In fairness however the Pool at the Dona Slyvia is over crowded.
The Rooms at the Radisson are set in little Portuguese style Goan Villa's and although nothing makes you go wow in the Rooms, the free wifi works well, the Bed is very soft, the AC keeps the room cool and it is very tastefully decorated. The Bathroom is not as huge as some of the modern Hotel Bathrooms but it isn't small its very comfortable.
The selection and Quality of Deserts wasn't very good. The Service is laded back and Relaxed which is exactly how most of the guests are however they didn't seem to know how to deal with the one angry stress head guest, whom was also annoying over guests around the pool with his finger clicking expectations of service, Some morons just don't know how to relax even in paradise.
I spent 2 nights with my wife in Goa with the plan being a mini break of rejuvenation and relaxation, I had 2 Tranquil nights sleep enjoyed some nice food, the service was friendly I feel I got excellent value for money. The Room rates where very affordable compared to other premium hotels and all considered would recommend this hotel to anyone whom wants a nice stay that doesn't go over the top price wise.
The hotel is just off Cavelossim Beach which is considered the best beach in Goa
It has shopping options all Around my wife brought a stack of swimsuits and dresses, River cruises up the Sal river.
Please Follow us and happy travelling
