The Vivanta by Taj Hotel Gurgoan is a modern Chic hotel, its quite without the Hustle and Bustle of other 5 star Indian hotels, In fact at times spotting another guest can be a challenge, the Rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms are large with a nice comfortable bathtub you can sit in and watch a movie.

I just love the new innovation in some of these modern hotels, via a HDMI cable I can plug my laptop into the TV via a series of ports on the desk. Is that to difficult then plug your Portable hard drive directly into the USB Hub. You can then sit back an watch anything on your Hard drive or Laptop on the TV in your room or listen to music using the TV speakers.

Awesome well it gets better in the bathroom you have separate set of speakers that can be turned up or down in the bathroom, Curtains that open to allow you to see you through a large glass window into your room. Sit in the Bath or on the shitter and what TV, sing along to beloved rock song whilst having a shower, I truly love innovation and I think every mans dream bathroom has a TV to watch a footy game or a Movie. Its just missing the bar and the lazy boy inspired Toilet.  



The view from my window, its not very exciting but Gurgoan isn't a very exciting place, you have awesome shopping mall Cyber city which is lots of Restaurants but nothing exceptional, its a business Hub and residential  area for people who want to save money on what it costs to live in New Delhi.

Walking down the corridors looks a little bit space age and chic, but really could use a bit more art.
The whole hotel has gone for a Ultra Modern look with Windows everywhere big Windows and Glass lots of Glass.
The swimming pool has little massage tables next to it, which was very interesting and Nobody ever seemed to be at the pool so it was like having your own private pool, its only about 10 meters long so its not really long enough to get in a rhythm doing laps.
The pool also has a small shallow pool for the kids to play in unfortunately I don't think many people take there kids on Holidays to Gurgoan but I guess not many international guests  know the difference between Gurgaon and New Delhi. Yo give it a positive spin they have thought of everything.
The Gym is well equipped. 

The Hotel has a Thai Restaurant which is very good and is a place you can relax and enjoy a fantastic meal, It also seemed to attract locals to Lunch and Dinner which none of the other restaurants seemed to do so this is your clear fist choice for dinning. The 24 hour Cafe has food you can eat it looks lovely the entry is spectacular as you walk down a glass path way with plants coming out of a pool, I know nothing about Feng shoo but after the entry its feels a bit mediocre, nothing is bad but nothing makes you go wow either and Taj Hotels Make you go wow.
The bar is cool little space with Terrace attached the staff are very nice but this isn't a happening bar, it is comfortable has some cool music and DJ, the cocktails are good by Indian standards, Its a good bar to just chill at, Its also next door to the excellent Thai pavilion so its the perfect place to meet friends before Dinner or extend the night after Dinner.
Room service offers a good range of food and drinks and is very efficient.
The first and last thing you see at a Hotel is the lobby its a modern and Trendy lobby Marble floors and Glass everywhere a Garden in a pool directly Behind Glass, Plenty of places to sit and Talk.

The lobby looks incredible but somehow doesn't give you buzz of a great Hotel Lobby, Maybe if the guest levels pick up then the buzz will come.    

The Vivanta by Taj Gurgoan is an excellent 5 star hotel Modern and Hip its close to everything you may want to do in Gurgoan it got a good central location. I offers excellent Value for Money and that excellent Taj service you will  only find in a Taj Hotel.
