On my way to the forbidden city, I meet 2 girls who said they wanted to practice their English with me and said they where going to a tea house to have some tea and asked would I like to join them, 2 beautiful Chinese girl and tea ( those whom know me know how much I love tea) and also the chance to experience a Chinese tea house.
Now in hindsight these girl where magnificent story tellers, they told me they where on holidays from Xian, told me all about Xian the landscape of the area, the food they eat, both where Traditional Chinese herbal doctors. Reality is they both probably are the daughters of parents whom wanted a son and due to china's 1 child policy grew up as Orphans where they where easy to take advantage of.
Also They Couldn't have their photo taken because they where devoted Buddhist's which I stupidly in hindsight respected.
We had 3 pots of tea, Jasmine, Green and Black Lychee all of exceptional Quality, then the bill came with a convenient comer which made me think I was paying about $8 Australia not $700 the actual amount. Thanks the Beijing police I later recovered this Money.
As for the girls they took me to my next stop the forbidden city.
